Troubleshooting
What to do when you cannot sign in, an application seems stuck, an upload keeps failing, or a social post link will not work.
A few things go wrong for creators more than anything else. This page takes them in order, with the checks that actually fix them.
What this is and when to use it
Use this page when something is not working and you have already tried reloading.
Do not use it to:
- Learn how a feature is meant to work — the other creator pages cover that.
- Work out what an application still needs — start with Application statuses.
I cannot sign in
Work down this list:
- Check the tab. The sign-in page has a Creator tab. Signing in on the wrong tab will not get you into your creator account.
- Check the email. Use the address you registered with — Relish has no separate payment address, so the account email is the only one that matters.
- Reset your password. Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page.
- Check for a verification email. If Relish requires a verified email, you cannot sign in until you open the link it sent. Check your spam folder.
If you are signing in with a phone code instead:
- The code expires after 5 minutes and you get 3 attempts.
- Codes are rate-limited: roughly one resend a minute, a limited number per number per day, and a cap per network. If you hit the limit, wait and try again, or use your email and password.
An application has not moved
Check the status first — Application statuses lists every one of them. Then check the usual causes:
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Stuck at Assessing | The brand has not reviewed it yet | Nothing. Withdraw if you have changed your mind. |
| Action Needed but nothing to book | Every slot is full, or the brand has not added locations | Open the booking screen — it says which, and lets you message the brand |
| Awaiting Address and nothing shipping | Your shipping address was never saved | Submit your address again |
| Visit finished but still not showing Content Needed | The visit has not been marked complete | Reload the application; then contact support if it stays |
| Content submitted but still not Posted | The submission did not save | Open the application and submit again |
TIP — If a campaign says Campaign Fully Booked, message the brand from that screen. They can add capacity, and they will know you are waiting.
An upload keeps failing
- Check the file size. Images up to 25 MB, videos up to 200 MB. A larger file is refused before it transfers — compress it and try again.
- Check the format. JPG or PNG for images, MP4 or MOV for video.
- Check the count. Up to 10 files per application.
- Check your connection. A large video over a weak connection can time out. Retry the failed file rather than starting the whole submission again.
A social post link will not work
Relish reads the engagement numbers from the link you paste.
- The post must be public. A private or deleted post cannot be read. The submission may save without any numbers.
- The profile must be public. If the app cannot list your posts at all, it says so and asks you to check your profile URL. Fix the handle in Settings → Preferences → Socials, then retry.
- Paste the published post URL, not a draft link or a share link from inside the app.
The campaign will not let me apply
If the campaign page sends you to a profile wizard instead of offering Apply Now, you are missing something the campaign needs. Usually it is a profile photo, a market, or a connected platform. Fix it from the wizard, or in your settings, then return to the campaign.
I was not selected
Not selected is a decision about that campaign, not a mark against your account. Apply to others — and check the requirements on each listing first, so you spend your time on ones that fit.
Nothing here fixed it
Gather three things before you contact support, because they make the problem solvable in one reply:
- The campaign name.
- The status your application is showing.
- The exact error message, when the app showed one.
