Manage locations

The brand's saved venues and the campaign's attached locations — adding a location by address search, editing, marking a location opening soon, setting the primary location, deleting, and the mass upload flow with its review step.

Adding, editing, and removing a locationVideo coming soon

A location is a venue a creator visits. Locations belong to the brand, and a Physical campaign then attaches the ones creators can choose from. One location is the brand's primary location.

What this is and when to use it

Use it when:

  • A new store, venue, or market is opening and should be available to campaigns.
  • You have a list of venues — a spreadsheet or a page of your site — and want them all added at once.
  • A venue has closed, moved, or is not open yet.
  • A campaign is missing the locations creators need.

Do not use it to:

Open a brand's locations

  1. Open Brands in the top bar and choose the brand.
  2. Open the Locations tab, or select See all locations.
  3. Use the search box to filter by location name, street, city, ZIP, or country. The footer counts what is showing.

From a campaign, the same set is reachable through Manage locations in the builder, where you attach them to that campaign — see Create a campaign.

Add a location by address

Adding a store by addressVideo coming soon
  1. Select Add, then Add manually. The Create Location dialog opens.
  2. Start typing the address in the address field and pick the matching suggestion.
  3. Check the Verified match chip. It confirms the address resolved, and a map preview shows where the pin landed.
  4. Give the location a Location name — what creators and your team will recognize.
  5. If the suggestion is wrong or incomplete, open Edit address parts manually and correct Street, City, State, Country, and ZIP. Use Clear to start the address over.
  6. Turn on Opening soon when the venue is not open to creators yet.
  7. Select Save Location. The location appears in the list without a reload.

IMPORTANT — The address is geocoded, so an incomplete or unparseable address is what stops a location from appearing correctly on the creator map. Fill every part, and prefer picking a suggestion over typing free text.

Edit, open-soon, or set the primary location

  1. Open a location row's actions menu.
  2. Choose Update to open the Update Location dialog pre-filled with the stored address and name.
  3. Change what you need — including the Opening soon switch — and select Update Location.
  4. Choose Set as primary location when this venue should be the brand's primary. The previous primary becomes standard.

Opening soon locations are saved and visible to your team but are not presented to creators as bookable venues. Use it for a store that is about to open rather than editing the location again later.

Delete a location

  1. Open a location row's actions menu and choose Delete.
  2. Read the confirmation — Delete <address> from this brand? — which states that the brand-location link and related usage are removed, then confirm.

To delete several at once:

  1. Select the checkbox on each row you want to remove.
  2. In the bar that appears, select Delete Selected.
  3. Confirm the bulk dialog.

NOTE — The primary location protects itself: its menu offers only Update, and it stays out of bulk selections, because a brand must always keep one primary location.

Upload many locations at once (mass upload)

Staging a batch of stores and confirming the rowsVideo coming soon

When a brand has dozens or hundreds of venues, add them as a batch instead of one at a time.

  1. Select Add, then Upload batch. The Upload Location Content dialog opens.

  2. Choose an intake:

    • Upload file — drop in a spreadsheet or file of venues.
    • Paste notes — paste text and let the intake parse addresses out of it.

A CSV built from the downloadable template is read directly from its columns, with no AI parsing — the safest intake for large batches. Any other file, and pasted notes, are parsed for addresses.

  3. Select Upload & Review. Nothing is saved yet: the rows are staged, and the review page opens.

Review the staged rows — this step is mandatory

  1. Read the header: it counts staged rows, how many are ready, and how many have issues.
  2. Use the tabs to work the batch — All, Needs review, Ready.
  3. Use the search box to find a specific row by name, street, city, state, ZIP, or by the issue it has.
  4. On a row with an issue, select Edit row (or Fix details) to open Fix uploaded location, read the inline explanation, correct the address fields, and select Save changes.
  5. Remove a row you do not want with Delete row, and confirm Delete staged row? — saved brand locations stay untouched.
  6. Select Confirm locations once no issues remain. The staged rows become real brand locations.

The table has one column per address part — Street, Apt / Suite, City, State, ZIP — so a unit lives in its own column, never inside the street line. The Address mismatch issue means the address lookup matched a different place; its reason names each part that differs (for example direction (N -> S), ZIP (21201 -> 21230)), and the row stays blocked until the typed address and the match agree. The lookup may fill fields you left blank, but it never overwrites what you typed. A count of ignored non-data lines (header, blank, duplicate) appears with the upload result, so the staged row count is never a silent mystery.

WARNING — Nothing is saved until you confirm. Leaving the review page, or using More actions → Discard import, throws the staged batch away — the import itself is the checkpoint that keeps bad addresses out of live campaigns.

Attach locations to a campaign

A saved location is not on a campaign until you attach it.

  1. Open the campaign in the builder and go to Manage locations.
  2. Use the All, In campaign, and Not in campaign tabs to see what is available.
  3. Select Add on a location's row to attach it. The row's status becomes In campaign.
  4. Select Remove on an attached row to detach it from the campaign. Attached locations can also be removed in bulk.

IMPORTANT — A campaign with no locations cannot be a visit campaign. The builder checklist flags Location & Schedule until at least one location is attached and scheduled.
