Organization settings
The organization's settings rail — general identity and URL slug, the invite policy, teams, access, the activity log, the AI assistant switch — plus your personal settings and switching between organizations.
Organization settings is where the organization itself is configured: its identity, who may invite new members, its teams and access, its activity history, and whether the AI assistant is available. A separate personal settings area covers your own account.
What this is and when to use it
Use it when:
- The organization's name, website, logo, or URL slug needs to change.
- You need to control who can invite new members.
- You want to audit what changed in the organization, and who changed it.
- You need to update your own display name or password, or switch organizations.
Do not use it to:
- Change what individual people can do — roles and grants live in Team and access.
- Change a brand's identity — that is Manage your brand record.
- Change a campaign — that is Create a campaign.
Open organization settings
- Open the organization menu from Switch organization in the top bar.
- Select Organization settings.
- Use the rail to move between General, Teams, Access, Activity, and AI assistant.
Opening the settings area without a section lands on General.
Edit the organization's identity
- Open General.
- Update Organization name and Organization website.
- Select Save changes.
- To change the logo, open the logo tile and upload an image. Once a logo exists, the same area offers to remove it.
IMPORTANT — These fields are editable only by the organization owner or Relish staff. Everyone else sees them disabled, with a line explaining who can change them — it is not a broken form.
Change the URL slug
The organization's slug is the segment in every portal URL that belongs to it.
- Open General and find the URL slug field.
- Enter the new slug and select Change slug.
- Read the confirmation, which shows the current address and the new one, and warns that existing links to the old address stop working and that the change cannot be undone.
- Confirm, or keep the current slug to back out.
WARNING — Only change the slug when you mean to. Anyone holding a link to the old address — including your own bookmarks and anything you have shared — will need the new one.
Set the invite policy
- Open General and find the Invite policy section, which controls who can invite new members to this organization.
- Choose who may invite under Who can invite members:
| Policy | Who may invite |
|---|---|
| Open — any member can invite | Any member of the organization. |
| Admins only | Only owners and admins. This is the default. |
| Invitations off | Nobody in the organization; invitations are handled through Relish. |
- The change saves as soon as you pick it.
Only the organization owner can change this setting, and the section says so when it is not yours to change.
Teams and access
The rail's Teams and Access entries open the same surfaces described in Team and access: the team list and rosters, and the members, role library, and assignments tabs.
Read the activity log
- Open Activity.
- Read the entries — a read-only history of actions taken within this organization, newest first, each with the actor and how long ago it happened.
- Use Load more to page further back when more entries exist.
The log covers invitations, role and access changes, and settings updates. When nothing has happened yet it says so rather than showing an empty table.
The AI assistant setting
Open AI assistant to see whether the assistant is enabled for this organization.
The switch is staff-controlled: if it is not yours to change, it is disabled and the page states that the organization owner or Relish staff manage it. The assistant is only available when the organization has it turned on.
Your personal settings
Personal settings are not part of the organization — they follow your account across every organization you belong to.
- Open your avatar menu and select Settings.
- On Account, update your Name and select Save.
- Use Change Password to rotate your password. The form refuses a mismatched confirmation inline, and the server refuses a wrong current password.
- Use Sign Out in the Danger Zone to end the session. It asks Sign out? first and explains that you will be redirected to the sign-in page.
Your email address is set by Relish and is not editable here.
NOTE — Signing out from the avatar menu is immediate, with no confirmation. The confirm dialog belongs to the Account page's Danger Zone.
Switch organizations
If your account belongs to more than one organization:
- Open personal settings and select the Organizations tab.
- Search the list, or sort it by Name A–Z, Name Z–A, Recently used, or Date joined.
- Select an organization card. The portal opens that organization's dashboard and remembers it for next time.
When you belong to a single organization the list has one card, and the top-bar switcher offers the organization's destinations rather than a choice of organizations.
