Applying and booking a visit
Apply to a campaign, understand what approval means, then book your visit — either a fixed time slot or a flexible, self-reported walk-in.
Applying takes one click. Booking the visit is the part with choices, and Relish runs two kinds of campaign: one where the brand publishes fixed time slots, and one where you pick your own time and tell the brand when you went. This page covers both.
What this is and when to use it
Use this page when you have found a campaign you want, when you have been approved and need to book, or when you already have a visit booked and need to change it.
Do not use it to:
- Read a campaign you have not applied to yet — start with Finding campaigns.
- Handle a campaign that ships you a product instead — that is Product seeding.
Apply
- Open the campaign page.
- Select Apply Now.
- Wait for the button to change to You have applied. The application is only filed once you see that.
Your application starts at Assessing — the brand is reviewing it. You can apply once per campaign; the button will not let you file a second application.
NOTE — Some campaigns auto-approve up to a set number of creators. Once that limit is reached, the remaining applications wait for a person to review them. Nothing is is wrong with your application if it sits at Assessing for a while.
What approval means
When the brand approves you, your application moves to Action Needed and a Schedule visit button appears on the campaign page and on your dashboard card.
Approval is not a booking. Until you book, the brand cannot plan around you, and the visit slot you wanted may go to someone else.
If the brand does not select you, the application moves to Not selected. You can apply to other campaigns.
Change your mind while Assessing
While your application is still at Assessing you can withdraw it.
- Open the application.
- Select Withdraw.
- Add an optional reason — the brand sees it, so keep it short and factual.
- Confirm.
Withdrawing files the application as history and leaves you free to apply again later while the campaign is still open.
Book a visit — fixed time slots
On a fixed-schedule campaign the brand publishes the times you can choose from.
- Select Schedule visit on your approved application.
- Find the location you will visit. Use the map pins, or open the location list and search by name. Find nearest sorts the list by distance from you.
- Pick a date from the calendar. Dates the campaign cannot take are shown as unavailable.
- Pick a time slot for that date.
- Select Review & Confirm.
- Read the summary — location, date, and time — then select Schedule visit to confirm.
You land on a confirmation screen showing where and when to go, with a link to open the location in Google Maps.
WARNING — The time you book is shown in the store's timezone. If you are booking a store in another state, check the timezone label on the slot before you confirm.
IMPORTANT — If the screen says Before you confirm with a note underneath, read it. That note is the last check on whether this booking is valid for you.
Book a visit — flexible campaigns
Some campaigns let you choose your own time instead of picking from a list. You still report it in advance, but you are not competing for a slot.
- Select Schedule visit on your approved application.
- Select a store on the map. The visit panel opens for that store.
- Pick your Visit date.
- Enter your Visit time.
- Check the preview line — Your visit — which reads back the date and time you chose, in the store's timezone.
- Select Confirm visit.
You will see You are scheduled! and the visit appears on your dashboard.
NOTE — Your time is recorded against the store's own timezone, not your device's. If the store's timezone is unknown the panel says so and falls back to your device timezone.
Confirm your attendance
A booked visit is not the end of the job. For a fixed-slot visit, Relish asks you to confirm you are still coming — the Confirm attendance action becomes available from your Scheduled card once the visit is within 48 hours. Confirm it, then turn up on time.
Missing a visit you booked is recorded as a No Show and affects the campaigns you are offered afterwards.
Move or cancel a visit
- Change the time — open the booked visit and select Change visit. Pick the new date and time and confirm. On a flexible campaign you can reschedule the same way.
- Cannot make any time — open the visit and select Change visit. The booking screen also has an option to message the brand about that location, so you can tell them what happened; a person can then move you or release the slot.
When there is nothing to book
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Campaign Fully Booked | Every slot is taken. Message the brand from that screen so they know you are waiting. |
| No Locations Yet | The brand has not added the visit locations. Booking opens once they do. |
| Campaign Has Ended | The campaign's dates have passed. Look for another campaign. |
| Could Not Load Visit Options | A loading problem, not a decision about you. Reload, then try again. |
What happens next
Once your visit is done, the next step is content: see Submitting your content. If your application seems stuck at any stage, Application statuses has the full list.
