Invite creators to a campaign
Queue invitations to a campaign before it publishes — search creators, queue invites with an optional title and message, read the sent list and its statuses, and revoke an invitation.
An invitation tells a specific creator about a campaign before it goes live. Invitations are queued, not sent: they are emailed once, when the campaign is published.
What this is and when to use it
Use it when:
- You are preparing a campaign and want particular creators in the room on day one.
- You want a creator you have worked with before to see the brief before the campaign is public.
- You need to withdraw an invitation you queued by mistake.
Do not use it to:
- Decide on creators who applied on their own — that is Review applications.
- Add teammates to your organization — that is a different invitation, covered in Team and access.
- Change what the campaign asks for — that is Create a campaign.
Open a campaign's invitations
Invitations live on the campaign, at
/agent/<organization-id>/campaign-builder/<campaign-slug>/invitations. The page
is titled Invitations — Invite creators to this campaign — with two
cards: Sent invitations and Invite a creator.
NOTE — This page is currently reached by its URL rather than from a navigation link inside the builder.
Queue an invitation
- Open the campaign's invitations page.
- In the Sent invitations card, note the count badge — it is the number already queued, accepted, or rejected.
- In the Invite a creator card, search under Search creators by name or email.
- Select Queue invite on the creator's row. The row then reads Invited, and the creator appears in the sent list.
- Optional: fill Invitation title with a short headline, and Message with a personal note. Both are attached to the invitations you queue after typing them.
- Repeat for every creator you want to invite.
- Publish the campaign when the list is right — see Publish a campaign.
The card states the rule plainly: Queued invitations are emailed once, when the campaign is published — nothing is sent before then. Nothing reaches the creator while the campaign is still a draft.
Read the sent list
Each queued invitation is a row in Sent invitations with its status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sent | Queued and emailed. The creator has not responded yet. |
| Accepted | The creator took the invitation up. |
| Rejected | The creator declined. |
Rows page 15 at a time. When nothing is queued yet the card reads No invitations yet — Add creators from the picker — invitations are emailed when the campaign is published.
Revoke an invitation
- Find the invitation in Sent invitations.
- Select Revoke invitation on the row.
- Confirm the success toast. The row is removed and the creator is no longer invited.
Use revoke when you queued the wrong creator, or when the campaign is being reworked and the invitation should not go out.
What the creator sees
A brand invitation appears to the creator as a Pending invitations section above their applications, describing the campaign and offering the choice to accept or decline. Accepting is how an invitation turns into an application in your review queue. The creator's side is covered in Apply and book a visit.
