Campaign schedule and availability

Updated Sep 22, 2026

How a visit campaign's availability is built — the schedule drawer, weekly windows and one-off dates, visit duration, attendee limits, copying hours between days, and what creators book from.

A Physical campaign with Preset time slots needs availability before creators can book a visit. The schedule lives on each location attached to the campaign, and creators book one of the windows you build.

What this is and when to use it

Use it when:

  • A visit campaign is in Preset time slots mode and a location has no availability yet.
  • You need to open extra days, add a second window for a busy day, or shorten visits.
  • You are taking a location out of a campaign's schedule.

Do not use it to:

  • Set the campaign's overall window — that is Select date range in the builder, covered in Create a campaign.
  • Attach or detach locations themselves — that is the locations page, covered in Manage locations.
  • Change how creators book (preset windows versus reporting their own time) — that is the scheduling-mode question in Create a campaign.

Build a location's schedule

  1. Open the campaign in the builder and find its locations section. Every selected location renders as a card.
  2. Select a location card to open its schedule drawer on the right.
  3. Under Schedule dates, confirm the window the schedule applies to. It is clamped to the campaign's own window, so you cannot schedule availability outside the campaign.
  4. Set Duration to how long one visit takes — 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The default is 30 minutes.
  5. Set Max attendees for a window, or turn on No limit to leave it uncapped.
  6. Add availability on the Weekly tab: turn on a day, then set its window — for example Monday | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  7. Add a second window to the same day with Add window when your hours have a break in them.
  8. Optional: use Copy Monday hours to other days to pick the days that share the same hours, then apply them — for example copy Monday's 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM onto Tuesday and Wednesday.
  9. Optional: switch to the Specific dates tab to open one-off dates instead of, or as well as, weekly hours.
  10. Select Create schedule. The toast confirms the save, and the location card's badge becomes Has schedule.

An empty day refuses to save: Add at least one weekday or specific date with availability before saving.

TIP — When the campaign requires dates before scheduling, the schedule surface will not open at all until the campaign window is set. Add the window first, then come back to availability.

Read the schedule summary

The builder's location and schedule section summarises the state of the campaign:

  • Every selected location has a schedule. — every attached location has availability, so creators can book.
  • Set campaign dates to unlock scheduling. — the campaign window is missing.

Change or remove a schedule

  1. Open the location's schedule drawer again.
  2. Change the days, windows, duration, or attendee limit, then select Update schedule.
  3. To clear a location's availability, open the drawer and choose Remove schedule.
  4. Confirm Remove this schedule? The dialog states that the weekly and specific-date availability for that location is deleted and cannot be undone.

Removing a schedule does not remove the location from the campaign; the location just stops offering bookable windows. Remove the location itself from the campaign on the locations page — see Manage locations.

When creators do not need a schedule

If the campaign is in Creators choose their own time mode, there are no windows to build. Approved creators pick a store themselves and report the visit date and time, and the location cards in the builder are inert by design. The visit step chip is labelled Visit times rather than Visit schedules.

Product Seeding campaigns never take visit scheduling at all — they ship product to the creator instead. See Create a campaign.
