The Janson's Drive In Story Janson's Drive-In made its debut in the late summer of 1960, instantly becoming a beloved hotspot. The Drive-In thrived, with eager Janson's fans forming daily queues. Over the years, Janson's became a cherished neighborhood institution, etching itself into the hearts of hot dog and hamburger enthusiasts in the Beverly area. It had become an irreplaceable piece of local history, with a menu that was practically synonymous with Chicago's culinary culture. Then, in 2014, a new family took the reins of Janson's Drive-In, injecting fresh vitality into the cherished establishment. They undertook the mission of restoring it to its original glory, ensuring that the magic of the 1950s lived on. Stepping onto the premises, customers were once again greeted by the nostalgic tunes of the '50s, bathing in the glow of neon lights, and surrounded by an array of 1950s memorabilia. The essence of the original menu was lovingly preserved, including the iconic "Chicago Style" hot dog, now featuring the renowned Vienna Beef Brand hot dog, and a selection of Coca-Cola beverages that transported patrons back in time.
